Paid parking applies in the centre and in the neighbourhoods around the centre of Alkmaar. The rates differ between parking on the street and in the parking garages. Different rates apply in the evenings.

• Times and parking rates Alkmaar Center:

  • Monday to Thursday 09:00 - 21:00: €3.05 per hour (max 2 hours)

  • Friday and Saturday 09:00 - 18:00: €3.05 per hour (max 2 hours)

  • Friday and Saturday 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM: €3.90 per hour (max 2 hours)

  • Sunday 12:00 - 17:00: €3.05 per hour (max 2 hours)

  • Maximum daily rate: €24.20

• Tips for parking in Alkmaar:

  • On the edge of the city centre there are a number of parking lots that are free. View the P+R Transferium sites in Alkmaar.

  • At the Parcade Overstad parking lot you can park within walking distance for a very cheap daily rate.
